I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I love being a member of His church that He established during his mortal ministry on the Earth that has been restored. There is tremendous peace and feelings of love that come from having a relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ, and above all, this is what centers me.

I love my country. I'm thankful every day I was born an American. I love that David chose a career that serves our country.

I love my Kindle Fire. Having a whole library of books and movies and tv shows I never get to watch when they are actually on tv is a wonderful thing.

I love Alabama football. (And I love the fact they are dominating college football right now with three championships in the last four years!) I could really give two hoots about the NFL and any other team unless they are playing Alabama, but Alabama football brings back some of the happiest memories of my life. I am so glad I chose to go to school at UA over BYU, after I was forced by my dad to go to UA for the first year. I fell in love with that place, and it is in my blood.

I love cookbooks. I love trying new recipes and figuring out what works and what doesn't.

I love to travel and see and experience new places and new things. I spent my entire growing up and college years in the same state, and while I love Alabama with my whole soul, I realized during my internship in England and backpacking through Europe that there is so much beautiful world out there to see and experience. I married a man with an adventurous soul as well, and I look forward to travelling when our kids when we are able, and alone later in life. Ethan likes to tell people he's already been to three countries(US, Canada, and the Bahamas). We're making travellers out of kids as well.

I love Nutella on anything. ANYTHING.

I love good music. My favorites right now are Phillip Phillips and Mumford and Sons. My friend, Sara, has the best taste in music and is always way ahead of the trends. She sent me the Mumford and Sons CD ages ago before Grammy was ever attached to them. I really love the folky sound of their music. I love to crank them up while I'm cleaning.

I love baby feet. When my kids were babies, I would fish their feet out of their onesies just to kiss them.

I love the beach, any beach, and find myself wistfully thinking of the beach ALOT during my first Utah winter!

More than all these things, I love my family, and I especially love my husband and children. There are many times I'm not patient enough, or kind enough, or living up to my best potential as a wife or a mother. Despite them not always getting the best of me, they love me madly and unconditionally anyhow. Oh, that everyone could be so lucky.
Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm glad I knew most of this about you. I need to watch Downton Abbey. I've been wanting to watch it since it started but didn't now I'm behind and blah blah blah. Maybe soon. Blasen has lots of travel over the next few months and maybe I can catch up.
Oh...and thanks for the compliment. I'll be sending some more stuff your way this week.
